The story
The Waypoint and Development Ranger (DRs) NFTs are a series of 7676 computer generated 3D collectibles inspired by the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. With a special focus on UN SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and UN SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), bringing attention and most importantly solutions for the 2 billion+ people that don’t have access to water and electricity.
The Development Rangers or DRs were started by a group of future beings suffering from the effects of climate change and inequality in the future. With their world on the brink of destruction these future beings utilized Waypoint powered time machines to go back in the metaverse to create a group of past, present and future rangers committed to preventing humanity from reaching the point of no return which occurs during the solar eclipse on June 1st, 2030.
Through a temporal technology share with Liquidstar, real Waypoints will be built in the physical world here on earth today.

Real production begins – solar panels generate energy; water is condensed; GPUs mine and compute.
Rewards flow – holders receive on-chain rewards based on actual output (kWh, liters, TFLOPs, and mining yield).
Enter the Game – use your NFT to walk around the virtual Waypoint world in Unreal Engine, build SDG structures, and race others.
Earn Points – your real-world Waypoint production translates into energy points you can stake as collateral in races or use for in-game upgrades.
